Honeymoon Farm is situated in the Harkerville forest between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna on the beautiful Garden Route of South Africa. The family smallholding owned by Pieter and Gaye Boshoff with their 2 children, Isabella and Tristan, are friendly honey and organic vegetable and herb ‘farmers’.
Pieter owns Treepro, a highly experienced invasive alien clearing, dam and road building, and civil works company with 25 years on the Garden Route. All excess wood is churned into bulk firewood which can be collected from the farm. He also rents out light industrial property in Wittedrift. You can check it all out at www.treepro.co.za.
Gaye is a freelance eco graphic designer and operates from her studio on the farm. Check out her design portfolio. To upkeep a farm and be a deadline working mom, can be difficult, thus the Moonbloom planting calendar was created in 2017 to simply, but concisely help her in her edible garden. Now the Moonbloom organic gardening products are sold nationwide, she offers workshops on the farm and writes gardening articles for the go!Platteland magazine.
